Visa applications lodged in the United Kingdom (England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Bailiwick of Jersey and Guernsey, Alderney, Gibraltar, Falkland Islands, Isle of Wight and Isle of Man) are processed by the Consulate General of France in London , the sole authority to make visa decisions.

The reception of visa applicants and the reception of files are ensured by the TL Scontact centers in London , Manchester and Edinburgh . There is no consular area and you can freely choose between TLScontact centers in London, Manchester or Edinburgh. You can submit your visa application no earlier than 180 days before your departure date . We recommend that you make your request at least 20 working days before your departure.

Once visa applications have been transferred to the Consulate General of France in London, you can generally expect between 2 days and 15 days for their processing. However, this instruction time may vary depending on various parameters.
